Indian River fishing report 01/27/2017 .
It's cooler this morning and temperatures are expected to drop through the afternoon as a cold front slowly moves through.
Black drum and trout biting. Lower temps finding game fish in deeper water . Some reports of Trout, Snappers, small Reds Snook, and Black Drum in the backwaters.
Some report seeing Cobia , however they usually show up in early March.
The Mosquito lagoon and New Smyrna beach fishing is the place to fish .

Indian River has been good for trout, sheepshead, drum and lots of other fish right now.
Fishing is relatively good with a mix of Black Drum, Blues, Redfish, and occasional Snook and Flounder. Shrimp,
clams, and spoons are the best bet right now. When a minor front appears this weekend, expect to see a few more Flounder.
